Detailed description of the project
Structural analysis and design and operational centre for research and development of solar energy in northern Chile (Antofagasta). The centre has the objective to become the leading centre in the whole South America and a major player in knowledge transfer to the productive sector, primarily to the very important and increasing mining activity in North of Chile but also extending its activity to others countries in the region.
The project included the envisaged road map to solar energy development in Chile and the definition of needed specifics facilities, manpower and budget resources during the 5 initial years of life of the centre.
